How it works. Finished length = word count ÷ words per finished hour (or your known runtime). Royalty per sale = list price × your royalty rate: new model 50% exclusive / 30% non-exclusive; legacy model 40% / 25% (being discontinued by the end of 2026). Royalty Share and Royalty Share Plus require exclusive distribution and split the royalty 50/50 with the producer (you get 25% on the new model, 20% on legacy). With Pay-for-Production you pay a one-time fee per finished hour and keep the full rate.

Important: this is an estimate. ACX pays royalties on Audible's net receipts, and membership (credit) listens are paid from "Member Value" (a share of the member's plan revenue, split across titles), not from your list price. Real earnings per sale are usually lower than "% of list price", so treat these numbers as an upper-end ballpark.
