Duhi Digital Hub ("we", "us") runs duhidigitalhub.com. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email johnduhi@duhidigitalhub.com.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in plain text.
- Free toolkit sign-ups: your name and email when you request the free KDP Creator Toolkit.
- Community content: your community name, the topics, replies and images you post, reports you send, and your email notification settings.
- Security data: your IP address and login attempts, used to block password-guessing and abuse. We keep this only for a short period.
- Usage data: privacy-friendly page view statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Free tools: our free tools run inside your browser. Files you open in them (PDFs, images) are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. Some tools remember your last settings in your browser's local storage.
Purchases: products are sold and delivered through WarriorPlus. We do not receive or store your card or payment details.
2. How we use your data
- To create and run your account and keep you logged in.
- To deliver what you asked for, such as the free toolkit and its access link.
- To send emails: the toolkit email, occasional tips and product news (you can unsubscribe in any email), and community reply notifications (you can turn these off).
- To run the community, including moderation and handling reports.
- To keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Service providers we use
- Cloudflare: website hosting, database, image storage, email sending and forwarding, and analytics.
- GetResponse: our email list. When you request the free toolkit, your name, email and access link are sent to GetResponse so it can email you.
- WarriorPlus: checkout and delivery of paid products. Its own privacy policy applies to purchases.
- Google Fonts: loads the font used on this site. Your browser connects to Google to download it.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours. We only share what they need to provide their service.
4. Cookies
We use one essential cookie, duhi_session, to keep you logged in (it lasts up to 30 days or until you log out). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep data
- Account and community data: until you delete it or ask us to delete your account.
- Email list data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
- Security logs: a short period, then deleted.
6. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to stop sending you emails. Email johnduhi@duhidigitalhub.com from the address on your account and we will respond within 30 days. You can also unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email and turn off community emails on the Community page.
7. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, secure cookies and private image storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password for your account.
8. Children
This site is for adults building publishing businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on the site or by email.
